Understand the assumptions behind your path
Money Path is a planning simulator. It helps you test “what if?” questions; it does not predict market returns or replace country-specific tax, investment or currency advice.
How is the future goal amount calculated?
Your target is increased each year using the inflation rate you enter. This is an illustrative estimate, not a verified forecast of the future price of a home, tuition or other goal.
How do currency assumptions work?
When the home and goal currencies differ, you enter the number of home-currency units per one unit of goal currency. The annual currency-cost change is then applied over time. No live exchange rate is fetched.
What do cautious, expected and growth mean?
The tool models three hypothetical annual-return assumptions centred on the rate you choose: 2 percentage points lower, your selected rate, and 2 points higher. These scenarios are not guaranteed, recommended or probability-weighted outcomes.
Where are saved plans stored?
Your saved plans use this browser’s local storage. They are not synced to another device or account, and clearing site data may remove them. Use the share link or CSV export to keep a separate copy.
